Daily Deviation

Given 2009-08-12
The Prototype by ~ornicar. From the suggester: "This is one of the coolest pieces of STAR WARS art I've ever seen. Vader seems so human, as if he's just some guy admiring his brand new car. It really is a terrific piece, in execution and technique." ( Suggested by ~Astro-Monkey and Featured by $aunjuli )

I always get a little teary-eyed when I remember Anakin's talent for gadgets and fixing things.

awesome pose. I can even see a hint of Anakin in there. the rain has added to the atmosphere beautifully (though I don't get why does someone leave a prototype out in the open :))

Oh goodness, this piece is so worth it's Daily Deviation. The light in the picture automatically draws your attention to Vader due to the strong lighting around him contrasted to his dark armor. The mood that the color, the rain, and even the way that Vader is standing, really adds to the picture.

I love it. :)

This is amazing work. I love the level of detail on the ship, and the small suggestion that perhaps this fallen hero is not necessarily more machine than man.
